Some of the most beautiful beaches and scenery in Kefalonia are not accessible by land and a trip on the power boat is highly recommended to enable you to enjoy the many riches on offer. The modern powerboat, 8 meters in length, is owned and skippered by Dionysos, an experienced sailor who during the winter months is second in command of a 160,000 tonne freight carrier that travels the seas of the world. Dionysos, is a native of Kefalonia, and with his excellent command of the English Language and pleasant nature, will provide a personal, comprehensive and historical guided tour of our local waters.

In addition to the skipper, the power boat provides comfortable seating for four adults and is equipped with safety features. Before leaving harbour, Dionysos will tailor a journey to meet your requirements with time, distance and safety in mind. Special arrangements will be made for young children.

It is recommended that guests bring plenty of suntan lotion, suitable footwear and swimming attire. Limited food and refreshment will be provided but you may wish to bring a picnic to enjoy on your chosen private beach. For those wishing to partake in fishing or water sports please bring your own equipment.

The preferred departure ports are based in Spartia and Ag Pelagia. However, arrangements can be made for alternate ports. Where required, Kefalonia Luxury Holiday Lettings will assist you in obtaining transport to and from the port and also with directions for visitors who have car hire.

Should Dionysos or the Port Authorities state that the conditions are not suitable for travelling on the sea on your chosen date, the trip can be re-scheduled or a full refund of monies paid will be due.

We have detailed below a sample of the trips available with the cost involved and would request that you contact KLHL to make arrangements on your behalf. A small deposit will be required to secure the booking that will not be refundable if you cancel the trip in the interim.

Cruises

Spartia – Paradesi – Katsonas – Leyka - Spartia

Walk on beautiful empty beaches and swim in tranquilgreen waters.  There is an option to 'drop and go' for later pick up under arrangement.

Spartia – Dias Rock – Ali Helis Cave – Vardiani Island – Minies Beach - Spartia

Climb 100 stairs up to Dias Rock Church, explore the caves and hundreds of seabird nests.  Walk on Vardiani Island and explore the lighthouse.  Choose any of the tiny beaches with glazy blue waters to swim.

Spartia – Kakava (submerged ancient village) – Kaminia Beach – Caves – Spartia

Snorkelling around the ancient roads and among the submerged houses.  Swimming in any beach of your liking around the bay, see the caves.

Spartia – Navagio (shipwreck) Zakynthos – Blue Cave – Ag. Nikolaos - Spartia

See the most famous places of Zakynthos in one day.  Swim in the Blue Cave, walk the wrecked smuggler and see Ag. Nikolaos village.

Ability to take underwater photos and have them on disc.

Limited ability for Greek dakos and soft drinks to be offered on board.
