Razata is a village located 5 km east of the capital Argostoli, 15km west of Sami and 2 km south of Faraklata on the Argostoli-Sami Road. The village sits on a hillside and is situated in a small valley area surrounded by lovely forestry. The Malone Mountains cover the southeast and the Pot Amana Mountains to the north. There are sea views and many local facilities within a short travelling distance. Razata is a six minute drive to Argostoli and its central location is ideal for visiting the many delights that Kefalonia has to offer. For the less energetic, you can relax on the large roof terrace, catch the sun and sample our local wines.
At 108m2, including the roof terrace, the top floor apartment is now available for holiday rental. Built in 2005, this self-contained accommodation consists of a spacious twin bedroom and sofa bed and is designed to comfortably sleep three people. With modern, tasteful decoration, a fully fitted kitchen, dining area, air conditioning and a roof terrace, the Mountain Pines Apartment provides a beautiful setting for a relaxing holiday. The bathroom includes a contained shower and toilet. The roof terrace overlooks the beautifully maintained garden that grows a variety of fruit such as lemon, figs, pear, apricot, apple, plum amongst the Olive and Pine Trees. There are also sea, mountain and forestry views. The bedroom and living room have patio doors leading onto the terrace.
The property owners occupy the ground floor and will be available to give any help and advice to help you enjoy a very special holiday. Michael and Shirley will collect you from and to the airport, provide a free home meal on your arrival, a large welcome pack, local maps and guide, binoculars, games, a selection of books, snorkel and mask and beach chairs. If you desire, they will cook a free barbecue during your visit.

They are also happy to provide beach equipment, snorkels, masks etc for those wishing to explore the crystal clear Ionian Seas surrounding Kefalonia. Add these facilities to the private transfers to and from Kefalonia Airport and the exceptional welcome pack offered by the owners we feel Mountain Pines offers a truly “home from home” holiday.
