Surrounded by stunning flower filled gardens and very close to the sea. Villa Dizis is located on a quiet street in the town of Skala on the south east coast of Kefalonia. With its small port and main village square, large variety of shops, mini-markets and a wide range of restaurants, tavernas and bars, Skala is known as Kefalonia’ s premier resort. The property is a 15 minute drive from the neighboring port of Poros. Skala beach is just 250 metres from Villa Dizis and stretches for over a mile of golden sand and has excellent facilities to enable a leisurely day in the sun. Power boat trips and water sports can also be arranged from Skala Beach for the more energetic amongst us. There are a number of other beaches within close proximity, including Mounda Bay, famous as the nesting ground of the Caretta Caretta Loggerhead Turtles. Our capital Argostoli is an hour drive away and offers a night of entertainment, many fine restaurants, people watching and Greek hospitality. Villa Dizis is approximately one hour from Kefalonia Airport by Taxi. For families with young children there is a public swimming pool and playgrounds, an arcade, mini golf and tennis courts, all within close proximity. The historical mosaics are also worth a visit.
The majestic Villa Dizis located on a quiet street in Skala town consists of self contained studios and apartments that vary in sleeping capacity from 2 – 4 people and a folding bed can also be provided on request. The two storey villa has been re-designed to comfortably accommodate 5 groups on the ground floor and another 5 groups on the top floor. All the spacious rooms provide self catering facilities, are fully air conditioned, have been delightfully decorated and include a TV. The ground floor offers a seated patio surrounded by a colourful, well maintained garden and all top floor accommodation have patio doors leading to a private balcony. Some rooms have mountain or sea views. In addition, on departure day, all guests are welcome to avail of the especially constructed and furnished ‘Leisure Facility’ that includes a shower, toilet and library.
