Villa Krinos is situated on the edge of the traditional Greek village of Karavados in southern Kefalonia and is ideally situated for exploring the many beauty spots in Kefalonia. The villa is less than 15 minutes drive from the airport and the capital of Argostoli. Argostoli has an attractive seafront with restaurants, shops and the meat, fish and fruit & vegetable markets. At night the pedestrianised main square & shopping mall come alive with families, couples & people enjoying eating, drinking, just strolling and watching the world go by. Nearby to Karavados is the small town of Peratata (3.5km) which has a good range of shops and facilities - such as restaurants, bakery, cake shop (fantastic chocolates!), butchers, mini-markets, chemist, health centre, petrol station and bowling alley. Villa Krinos is in a quiet location but with several beaches, restaurants & shops within 5 kms., as well as two mini-markets in Karavados. The sandy and picturesque beach of St. Thomas with its crystal clear water, safe bathing, and two tavernas is only 2km away.
